keen on quinoa

hey all.
So now I make delicious soup.

here's how...


Keen on Quinoa Veggie Soup

2 carrots - sliced
2 cloves of garlic - minced
2 stalks of celery - diced
1 onion - chopped
1 tomato - also chopped
1 yellow bell pepper - chopped as well
a little olive oil
some salt and pepper (to taste)
about 3 cups of chicken broth
maybe 2 cups of water
2 cups cooked quinoa
ground mace

In a large pot heat up the olive oil.
It just needs to heat, don't have it boil.
Cook the veggies until the onions slightly droop,
but don't cook the tomato or you'll ruin the soup.
Now add the broth and the water as well.
Also add the tomato - you're doing quite swell!
Reduce the heat and let it simmer.
The smell will make your senses shimmer.
Add about an 1/8 teaspoon of mace.
Just be sure to keep it away from your face.
Let it simmer for a while longer--
Maybe an hour to make the flavors stronger.
Right before you serve add the quinoa.
If you add it to soon it will make it taste blah.
Cooking with quinoa tops all the trends.
So make this soup and impress all your friends.Quinoa as prepared for burritos -- not as tasty as the soup.
