This is one of my favorite people in the whole wide world.
She is incredible and routinely sleeps in a hammock with me.
No one else does that.


Today we planted some flowers and then we made pizza. it was a pretty sweet day.

The weather has been really nice. Just about perfect I would say. It gets up to around 80 or 85 and just stays like that. nice and sunny too. But I keep getting sunburned. No dice.

I'm reading Angela's Ashes. I'm almost done. It's a good book. But for some reason I'm on a life of unfortunate circumstances kick. I've recently read The Glass Castle, A Million Tiny Pieces, Kite Runner, A Thousand Splendid Suns, Into the Wild, The God of Animals, and a book about Donner's Pass. man oh man, all bad times. Let me tell you. Or you could just read the books, and they would tell you. whatever.
Quick, someone tell me a non-downer thats worth reading.... but wait, thought all these books have made me weep like a baby, they aren't really downers. There's something uplifting about reading a life worse than anything I've ever gone through. Maybe it's the reality of it. The reminder of all I have to be thankful for. And I am.
