In the creek mid-winter.

Holy Moses!
So it's been a while since I posted. Oh well. It's life.
I'm back in Jackson now. Experiencing the first sub-zero temperatures of my life....I'm sure with windchill and such that I've been in negative degree weather, but this is the first time I can remember seeing the thermometer say so. I saw -10. brrr. And then I woke up and there was a foot of snow. wow.
There is a small parking lot outside of my condo where they push all of the snow from the drive and the parking spaces into. It is turning into a small mountain.
I went snowmobiling for the first time ever this weekend. My dear friend Grant got his machine stuck about 14 miles back in the woods in about 4 feet of powder in a gully. He and a friend had to walk out for a few miles before someone wa
s able to pick them up. So the next day a group of 12 of us went up there and dug him out. Well, I mostly just stood there and wiggled my toes. I took a couple pictures too.
Then on Sunday Joel and I went with Nick and Laura to Granite Hot Springs. It's about a 10 mile ride in, and it was snowing pretty hard, but then you get to the hot springs and it's so amazing. It is in the top 10 coolest places I've been. The water is 112 degrees just flowing out of the hillside. It was very beautiful.
I'm headed to Hood River for Christmas. Joel is coming too. That will be fun. I'm just hoping that my flight can make it. It's supposed to snow snow snow for the next couple days. We got a little over a foot of snow last night.... and it's still snowing. wow.
:)
