I'm still in Arizona. Well, I'm back in Arizona. :) Last Wednesday I left, flew down to San Diego, stayed the night with the Talcotts, then drove down to Baja with Ed to see Jonathan, and then back up to San Diego with the Talcotts and then back to Phoenix. Good times. No, better than good; great times! There is nothing better than being with people you love and who love you back. It's good for the soul.
I loved being in Mexico without cell phones. It's so nice to focus on the people that you are with and not worry about messages or interruptions. That being said that I was worried when I couldn't find my phone at first after crossing back over the border. I loved driving around looking at places and things. I loved trying to surf and just spending time with Jonathan. I loved eating fish tacos. And I loved that I didn't get sick. :)
I loved being back in Southern California. I loved going to El Azteca with Ed. I loved being at the Talcotts and watching movies and eating more good food. I loved driving from the airport and talking with Ann. I loved going to their Church. I miss Chuck's preaching. I loved going to the beach with them and watching Israel's and Alemu's first experience with the ocean.
I love life and I love God.
Where should we go next?
I hear there's a beautiful place in Alaska...I think it's called Juneau? I hear there is a really cool person that lives up there...maybe that can be your next adventure...;-) I miss you and hope to talk to you soon!!!
