The view out my window... Well, I posted a picture of the hill behind my condo, and today I walked up it.
I went on a spectacular hike today. It was beautiful, and I got to see a lot of wild flowers. I need to learn these ones. I bought a wild flower book for the Tetons, so that I can start getting to know them. I got out my wildflower pictures from the Gorge. I've got 40 different ones photo'd, and labeled, scientific and common name. Now, there are many many more than 40 wildflowers that you'll encounter, but still I could take you on a sweet nature walk. Can I consider wildflowers a hobby? well, at least I'll say that I dabble. I'm not a serious flowerer. Some of the flowers here are the same. I went up high enough that some of the Indian Paintbrush was in color. wooooo! And there were Shooting Stars, and False Solomon's Seal, and Oregon Grape, and a Fairy Slipper..... man oh man. It was pretty cool.

And there was snow too. It was only a 5oo ft gain in elevation, but there was snow! wow, wow. But I learned that crocs are not snow shoes. lame.
