posted!

One of the great things about living in Wyoming is that there are always new things to discover. Right now I'm trying to discover why there is ice on my windshield in the morning. And why I can see my breath. And what it is like to freeze to death. Hmmm. Mystery abounds out here.
But really though, I wish everyone could come out here for a day. Even if you don't like the cold, you could do it just for a day...
Oh man, I've missed the fall time so much. 4 years now I've gone without it. And now I have it. And it's wonderful. I said for a long time that I needed to live somewhere with seasons. I realized that it's not a necessity, but I really do enjoy it.

A lot of my friends are gone from Jackson. I feel like I went away for a month and when I returned a mass exodus had happened... Joel, Sam, John, Amy, Laura, Luke, James, Melissa, Dan, Evan, Ben, Liz, Betsy.... man oh man. I guess thats what happens around here. I guess I am understanding more of why people kept asking me how long I was planning on staying here when I told them I'd just moved. Oh well, that leaves a lot more time for recording a Christmas Album with Nate and Brad. Just you wait, it's going to be good.

The job is still going well. I got a wildly thrashing three-year-old head to my nose today. I feel like Jan on the Brady Bunch. I don't think that it's really close to that at all, but I still feel like it. You know what episode I'm talking about, the one where she gets hit by the football....I think Peter threw it..... not sure. Anyway, it was a good episode.

I'm liking life quite a bit. It's like my favorite thing in the whole wide world. I rode a bike out to Teton Village yesterday. Not from in town, but from closer. But still, I don't generally ride bikes or condone riding bikes for any other purpose than hilarity, so this was a big step for me. I towed my children in a little bike chariot. We sang songs. I felt like a teenage mother...who has a bike. Nice.

Ok, enough rambling, I miss you all and I love you and I want to hang out sometime.Oh, and I just had a birfday not too long ago, and this is the famous Marcia Page lighting the candles on my cake(s). :)

xoxox, lisa.

  1. I love how you change your pic all the time. And I'm sorry about the mass exodus...I know how that is. And the ice on the windshield?! That's going to be me in a few months...I'm pretty sure I didn't sign up for that...I love you and miss you!
